暮らしに馴染む定番の水玉を、現代の食卓にも合わせやすいカラーでデザインしました。

肥前吉田焼の起こりは、天正5年(1577年)、吉田村を流れる羽口川の上流、鳴谷川の川底で、白く光る石を発見したことに起因します。
かつて、佐賀・長崎にまたがる地域は「肥前」と呼ばれ、陶磁器の産地として繁栄しました。当時、肥前にはいくつもの藩があり、鍋島藩で作られたやきものは有田焼として分類されてきた経緯があります。
肥前吉田焼も有田焼と同様、約400年の歴史を誇るやきものです。
肥前吉田焼の代名詞といえる水玉模様の茶器。時代に合わせた水玉模様を追求しながらも、ひとつひとつ手彫りで仕上げる伝統技法を受け継いでいます。
